I read the Newpaper when i was having my super super late lunch.
Particularly, this page caught my eye.

It's about JELLYFISH (:

In Another World : Jellyfish lake is one of the only two plaes on earth that one can safely swim with jellies !

The writer in the newspaper photo, cups the jellyfish in her hands. It's stings were Harmless to humans and is no cause for concern.
It was a few years ago that the writer heard about the existence of this secluded lake, situated amid the rock islands of palau, a small island - nation in the Pacific Ocean about 800km east of the Philippines.
She listened in utter disbeliefs as a friend described swimming amoung MILLIONS of jellyfish. To her limited knowledge, jellyfish were creatures to avoid, and not animals to frolic amoung.
Her husband and her were so excited that they decided to take a trip down to see for themself.
Jellyfish lake is one of 70 similar marine lakes in palau, and was formed between 12,000 and 15,000 years ago. The landlocked water body, about 50,000 sq m in size ( equivalent to 10 soccer fields ) , is still connected to the sea via tiny fissures in the island's limestone ridges.
The lake can only be accessed by foot. the 400 m trail traversed a steep ridge that challenged city-folk like us with its slippery and jagged rocks.

Finally they reached and this is where thier adventure truely begins.
The water was warm, It's shimmering emerald muted with shades of jade. the sun was shining but the breeze held it's own.
Slowly she swam gingerly towards the centre of the lake, so far so good, no stingers in sight.
One by one the jellyfish appears and then an explosion of jellies !
She was scared, amazed, in awe and feeling everything all at once, so much so that she can't even remember the moment of first contact.

She said, there was no pain, no stinging sensation whatsoever and she wasn't feeling breathless either. There were two types of jellyfish amoung the estimated five million "globs" inhabiting the lake : the golden jellyfish and the moon jellyfish.

So cool huh?! i wouldn't mind swimming around with jellyfish ! so adorable and soft ! plus it doesn't STING ! cool or what !?

Sometimes, even sweet words could be a present on christmas eve.

So far, i've only received a proper present with wrapping paper just today when i reached home.
It was from my Mom's friend.
Opened up, it was Chocolate, candies & cookies. LOL !
